FIRE DOOR TESTING
Fire door testing entails the following:
Evaluating the fire door openings and smoke door assemblies
Checking for carpet, wires, or other obstructions running beneath the door
Completing inspections, certifications and tagging
Searching for things that could obstruct or prop open the door; and
Verifying that the fire door's system for closing and/or locking is in place.
Determining your fire door's flammability rating
Repairing and replacing fire doors according to The Building Code of Australia, local authorities and regional occupational health authorities’ requirements
Of course, controlled fires in tightly regulated facilities are occasionally required for fire testing.
